THE AYBAR STORY

AYBAR BELIEVES EARTH is no-man’s land, in her words:

“Immigration is more than a U.S. issue, its a global dream for many to escape their traditional cultural practices for the lack of self-awareness. Its entirety is about perception — Change Your Setting. God created a planet that ceases to exist beyond human nature for moments of impactful change and the creation of Life itself.

Change is part of our nature. This earth is here for ALL OF US to see, live and explore it in the purpose or our moment. Yet, we’ve limited this ability by adapting to the practices of modern colonization, becoming stagnant in our environments and acclimated to resisting change.”

AYBAR HISTORY

The History of the ɅYBɅR’s dates back to the Iron Age, between the periods of 1200 B.C. and 600 B.C., to the descendant Jews from the Tribes of Dan and Manasseh, of the 12 tribes of Israel (Deuteronomy 33:6–25).
They were exiled when conquered by the Assyrians, and the manner of their exile of the Tribes led to their further history being lost.

The ɅYBɅR’s birthed centuries later, the name comes from Khaybar — originating from royalty blood, a city near Medina, Saudi Arabia, where the survivors eventually migrated to Turkey, and then later to Lebanon after being kicked out.

In the 1800s they fled Lebanon because of muslim persecution being that the ɅYBɅR’s were now Christian-Arabs. From Lebanon, they migrated north to Spain, later settling in the Caribbean, Hispaniola now known as Dominican Republic. Where they intermarried with Taino natives.

In 1937, Nancy Aybar was born, and she became the pioneer of the Sui generis last name. At 18 she gave birth to her first child, a boy, Lino ɅYBɅR, named after his father, a pharmacist, Lino Bonilla but having been born out of wedlock received his mother’s last name, ɅYBɅR, instead.

Lino was born in Santo Domingo, on the 112th Independence Day of the Dominican Republic, in 1956. Nancy later had two more children, Carlos and a baby girl who sadly died at 3 years old from yellow fever. A few years later Nancy, fatally loses her life at 37 years young. Leaving two young teenage boys motherless.

Lino moved to La Vega after his mother’s death, where he was raised by his foster mother Tata. Aspiring to become a baseball player, his father frowned upon the sport and instead dedicated his teenage years to solely studies and working in the family pharmacy, Farmacia Bonilla, with his grandfather and father. During his years in La Vega, he met his future wife, Ursula, who they call Uva (Grape in Spanish).

Uva was born from the Reyes (Kings in Spanish), and Pichardo bloodline. Her father, Domingo Reyes, procreated 24 children in his life before passing in the year 1972, 12 legitimate children with his second wife, Mercedes Pichardo, from which Uva was born, and 12 others from his first marriage and out of wedlock. Mercedes raised a few of the children he bore out of wedlock during their marriage. Just as herself, her three other siblings birthed more than a dozen children, extending the Pichardo bloodline in the hillsides of La Vega and Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic.

In 1979, Lino married his childhood sweetheart and migrated to The Bronx, New York in 1980.

After having endured some complications in trying to conceive, they were blessed with their first daughter in 1984, who was named after his mother, Nancy. In 1988, their biggest blessing was born, a second daughter, Elizabeth (meaning “My God is an Oath.”)

Unexpectedly + unplanned, 8 months later they were blessed with their last child, and the last ɅYBɅR to be born, on October 15, 1989, in New York, NY.

A third daughter, and they named Linda, (Pretty in Spanish).
